Directions

Follow the directions below and you will be surprised at the results
through the simple use of the thermometer.

1. Place the eggs and thermometer in a saucepan covering the eggs
with cold or lukewarm water.  Immerse the silver end of the ther-
mometer at least 2 1/4".  If the heat source is larger than the pan,
do NOT allow the top end of the thermometer to overhang the saucepan
as heat from the burner will cause it to crack.

2. Bring the water to simmer or boil.  As the water heats the red liquid
will rise on the scale to the point indicating the desired type of
cooked egg.

3. When the red liquid reaches the proper mark, remove the eggs
and thermometer from the water.  Ideas differ as to what is a soft
or medium boiled egg.  Experiment until you find just the right mark
to suit your taste.

4. Allow the GOOD EGG to return to room temperature at least an
hour before using again.  DO NOT COOL IN COLD WATER.

5. NEVER use the GOOD EGG thermometer in the oven.

6. Handle the GOOD EGG thermometer with care and protect it from
breakage when not in use.
